Arnica
Arnica flowers are harvested between June and July, manually. They are dried (55–60 degrees celsius); manually cleaned, sieved, and before packing go through metal cleaning. Storage is on pallets in the dry and dark and protected against insects, rodents and birds. They are packed in paper bags. No fumigation or irradiation processes are undertaken. When the flowers arrive at NSS they are infused in oil for several weeks before straining away the flowers to use in production.
Juniper Berry & Lavender Essential Oils
Both oils are processed via steam distillation, the oil is extracted from the botanical material via steam, and controlled temperatures, resulting in a wonderful flavoursome, and aromatic oil. The process takes 3-5 days to process the material to create one batch.
