DAME was born in November 2016 when founders Alec and Celia decided enough was enough. Tired of the plastic waste from period products - applicators, wrappers and even tampons themselves - they set out to make a change. Their mission? To make periods more positive with sustainable products that care for the planet from start to finish. Proudly certified as a B Corporation, DAME introduced the world’s first reusable tampon applicator, thanks to a hugely successful Kickstarter campaign. Today, their collection includes 100% organic cotton tampons and reusable pads, all created to help reduce the use of disposable, non-recyclable period products and champion a greener future.
